Mrs Anita Fitch
Anita Fitch is the General Manager of the College of Law, Governance and Policy, a role she has held since the College’s establishment in January 2025. Prior to this, she served as the General Manager for the ANU College of Law from 2023. In her current role, Ms. Fitch leads and coordinates the administrative and academic support functions within the College, with a focus on developing high-quality service to staff and students.
Her responsibilities span the development and implementation of strategic and operational plans, providing leadership and direction to professional staff, overseeing complex change management initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and service excellence across the College.
Previously, Ms. Fitch was the Finance Manager for the ANU College of Law, where she was responsible for end-to-end financial management, and played a key role in supporting executive decision-making and shaping strategic priorities.
Ms. Fitch has a broad base of experience across both academic and central portfolios as the University. She has held senior positions across the University, including the Research School of Biology, Finance and Business Services, and the Division of Information, which encompassed Libraries, ITS and space management.
